Blouberg is mainly residential and attracts a large amount of visitors each year., the area is popular for its beaches and has a stunning location to view Table Mountain. The bay on the West side of Bloubergstrand is known as ‘Big Bay’, due to constant winds around the area it has become very popular with kite surfing. There is much to keep everyone entertained in Blouberg as there are many restaurants in town, walks on the beach, swimming and movie theaters at the nearby Tygervalley shopping centre. Bloubergstrand being within such close proximity of Cape Town means that there are many wonderful attractions of the Mother City from the Museum to all the beaches along the Atlantic Seaboard and these are all within easy driving distance - so make sure you bring your cameras along!
